There are moments that remind us real estate is about much more than contracts, closings, and commissions. This was one of those moments.
Members of JLA Realty – Omnia Elevate gathered at the legendary Kirby's Ice House in The Woodlands to cheer on Team USA as they faced Australia in the 2026 FIFA World Cup. What began as a simple get-together quickly became an unforgettable afternoon of excitement, celebration, and community. The venue was packed, with standing room only as fans filled every available space to watch the United States Men's National Team take the field.
And Team USA didn't disappoint.
Team USA Strikes Early and Beats Australia 2-0
The United States struck early and never looked back, defeating Australia 2-0 and clinching a spot in the knockout stage with a game to spare. The win gave Team USA back-to-back victories to open group play — the country's best start at a men's World Cup since the inaugural tournament in 1930. The Americans controlled possession, defended with discipline to earn a clean sheet, and once again showed the depth and resilience of this young, confident squad.
A Packed House at Kirby's Ice House
Kirby's Ice House was the perfect place to experience the match. Fans erupted after the opening goal and again when the United States doubled its lead before halftime. Throughout the afternoon, chants, cheers, and celebrations filled the venue. It felt like everyone in the room was united by a single purpose — supporting Team USA. For the members of JLA Realty – Omnia Elevate, it was also a chance to spend quality time together outside of real estate.
